Community Dance Classes
Wednesdays, Sept. 18 and 25 and Oct. 2, 16 and 23
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.
Community dance classes at the Grange are all the rage. Under the direction of instructor-choreographer Lindy Bartruff, there are several opportunities for the community to feel completely joyful while learning new dance steps and being active. Class level and content are matched to the participants of each class.
5:00 p.m. - 5:50 p.m. Tap Dance
Classes will focus on technique and routines which are sure to benefit both the mind and body.
6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Line Dancing
Line dance comes from African and European folk dance, blending many styles. It's a fun and aerobic way to learn dance.
7:05 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Latin Line Dance
From Cha-Cha to Salsa, this is line dancing at its most trendy.
October's classes will be focused on jazz, tap, and of course, the always popular line dancing.

Grange Monthly Members Meeting

Members are invited to the Grange's monthly meeting where they'll get the inside scoop on what's happening at the Grange: events, building improvements, and the structure of the organization. As always, questions, comments, and ideas are very welcome.
Niwot Historical Society Now & Then Lecture Series
Thursday, Oct. 10, 7:00 pm., doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Artist and speaker Tom Myer, a Gunbarrel resident, presents his informative lecture "What is a Pow Wow." Filled with interesting facts and stories, the audience will come to understand the significance of this integral cultural ceremony.
Admission is free for Niwot Historical Society members or $5 for the general public.
Music at the Grange
Sunday, Oct. 13, 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.
It's time to herald in the seasonal return of Sunday music at the Grange. If you enjoy a variety of musical genres, then you will be entertained by the artists performing in this comfortable venue. The afternoon of tunes features up to 11 talented local artists performing their renditions of familiar songs and perhaps a few originals sprinkled in.
The performers are by invitation only and the community is welcome to listen and enjoy free of charge. Complimentary refreshments are also provided.
The Grange needs your help filling open volunteer positions: a fundraising volunteer, a volunteer coordinator, and a grant writer
Now that the non-profit entity Niwot Hall owns the Grange building, the organization is looking for volunteer assistance to organize fundraising events, recruit volunteers, and write grants.
If organizing events, working with volunteers, and applying for grants are any of your super powers, you'll find great satisfaction helping this community center reach its goals.

Rebecca Folsom at the Grange
Saturday, Dec. 7, 7:00 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.
Plan ahead for two fantastic concerts featuring local musician Rebecca Folsom. Ticket sales will help raise funds for the Left Hand Grange building. Watch for additional information in the near future.
