Music at the Grange

Sunday, Nov. 10

1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.

This special afternoon of tunes features up to 11 talented local artists performing their renditions of familiar songs with some original pieces sprinkled in.

Performers are by invitation only and the community is welcome to listen and enjoy free of charge. Complimentary refreshments are always provided.

Niwot Community Connection

Thursday, Nov. 14

10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.

In addition to covering community news and discussing upcoming activities within the organization, November's NCC meeting will include a presentation by Byron Kominek on "Agrivoltaics." Byron heads up Jack's Solar Garden, a family-owned enterprise on 95th Street.

Working in partnership with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, Colorado State University, and the University of Arizona, Jack's Solar Garden researches the integration of solar panels with agriculture referred to as agrivoltaics. Join us in learning about this fascinating project happening right here in Boulder County.

Dance Classes with Lindy

Wednesdays, Oct. 16, 23 and Nov. 6, 20, 27

Beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Under the direction of professional instructor-choreographer Lindy Bartruff, there are several opportunities for the community to be active and feel completely joyful while learning new dance steps.

October classes

5:00 p.m. - 5:50 p.m. TAP II - Intermediate technique and routines

6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Line Dance

7:05 p.m. - 8 p.m. Jazz Broadway - Jazz dance that combines classic, contemporary, and commercial styles to create the Broadway look.

November classes

5:00 p.m. - 5:50 p.m. TAP II - Intermediate technique and routines

6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Line Dance

7:05 p.m. - 7:55 p.m. - TAP I - Beginning tap technique and routines

Rotary Club of Niwot

Thursdays, Oct. 17, 24 and Nov. 7, 14, 21

7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m.

The Rotary Club of Niwot welcomes all members of the community to their morning meetings at the Grange. Breakfast and coffee are served at each meeting beginning at 7:30 a.m. Learn what your local Rotary Club is doing in and for the community while enjoying a social breakfast.

Rotary International is one of the world's largest service organizations. The mission of the organization is to "provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace."

Rebecca Folsom at the Grange

Saturday, Dec. 7, 7:00 p.m. - 9 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 8, 2 p.m. - 4 p.m.

Plan ahead for two fantastic concerts featuring local performer Rebecca Folsom. Ticket sales will help raise funds for the Left Hand Grange building. Watch for additional information in the near future.

The Grange is seeking a fundraising volunteer, a volunteer coordinator, and a grant writer to support this wonderful community resource.

Now that the non-profit entity Niwot Community Hall owns the Grange building, the organization is looking for volunteer assistance to organize fundraising events, recruit volunteers, and to write grants.
