New dentist joins Niles Family Dentistry

Niles Family Dentistry, located at 136 2nd Ave. Suite 101, Niwot, welcomed Dr. Laura Thomas to the team on Aug. 16.

Thomas earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and her Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from University of Pittsburgh. After completing her schooling, Dr. Thomas served in the Navy as the dentist and Medical Department head on board the USS GERMANTOWN, where she cared for sailors and marines while sailing across the Pacific Ocean.

Niles Family Dentistry was opened in 2014 by Dr. Ashley Niles with the goal of providing preventive, holistic family dental care. Since opening, Dr. Niles has remained the sole dentist in the clinic despite amassing a workforce of six.

On the clinic's website, she said, "I have patiently waited for the right fit for ten years, and now we are pleased to welcome Dr. Thomas to our team. When Dr. Thomas and I began talking over three years ago, I could tell she was a lot like me; engaged, caring, and thorough. Having long-time family living in Niwot, her move to Colorado is a natural fit."

Niles continued, "I cannot express strongly enough my confidence in her technical skills as well as her compassionate and calm demeanor. I look forward to her joining our team which will greatly benefit our patient-care centered philosophy at our practice."
