All Local, All The Time

NHS Fall Fest fun for all

The third annual Niwot High School Fall Fest spilled from the front entrance of the school into the parking lot on Friday, Oct. 25. The NHS Student Council organized the event, which attracted many ghosts, goblins, and superheroes from throughout the community. High school clubs and organizations, as well as the Niwot High Boosters, manned themed booths and trunks with plenty of activities for all ages.

Costumes, candy and activities ensured high energy. Children of every age participated in a scavenger hunt, trunk-or-treat, face painting, eating donuts off a string, yard games, and painting pumpkins. The NHS Mariachi Ensemble, under the direction of Keynes Chen, performed live music for all to enjoy.

Without a doubt, the student council at Niwot knows how to throw a great party. If you missed the event this year, the school looks to get even more community members to attend in the future with this relatively new annual festival. NHS students worked hard and continue to dedicate time and effort for activities like these to get the high school and community more integrated.
