Familiar Face Kristine Bart, NHS Attendance Clerk

Kristine Bart has a face Niwot High School students and parents alike recognize immediately. As the NHS attendance clerk, Bart has been an integral part of the Niwot High School community for three years. Known for her kind demeanor and professionalism, she ensures attendance is managed efficiently while fostering positive interactions with students, staff members, and parents.

Whether it's answering a parent's question, greeting and helping students, or simply being there when needed, Bart has played a vital role at NHS, contributing to its welcoming and supportive environment.

Bart has heard nearly every excuse for being tardy or absent at school. One of the most common excuses Bart hears is illness, followed closely by doctor or other appointments. She seamlessly records and tracks tardies, absences, and their reasons, ensuring that attendance records remain accurate and up-to-date. This consistency not only supports the school's daily operations, but also keeps things running smoothly for everyone.

What Bart cherishes most about working at NHS are the moments that allow her to connect with students and their families. She enjoys building and creating meaningful relationships within the school community. "I love working with kids and talking to parents," she said. "Niwot is such a special place to work. Everyone here is kind and supportive."

The welcoming nature of the school, paired with the dedication of her colleagues, create an environment where Bart feels that her variety of tasks-managing communications, assisting students, supporting teachers, and handling administrative tasks-are rewarding and meaningful.

Bart stands out as a friendly caring connection between staff and students. She takes pride in her role and creates meaningful impact throughout the school community.
