Boulder to Erie Regional Trail
On November 15, the Boulder County Board of County Commissioners approved the Boulder to Erie Regional Trail (BERT) Plan in a 2-1 vote with Commissioners Ashley Stolzmann and Marta Loachamin supporting the plan and Commissioner Clarie Levy opposing it, noting that she was not satisfied with the mitigation measures included in the plan as it affects impacts on lands covered by conservation easements. With the plan approval, next steps can now be undertaken to procure funding at local, state and federal levels.

Strategies to minimize potential environmental impacts of the preferred alignment will continue to be explored.
Partner coordination and community outreach will continue in the next phases of the project. Regular updates will be provided as the project progresses."
