The Colorado Department of Transportation posted a sign at 63rd Street and Lookout Road that says Lookout Road in that area will be closed on Dec. 11.

Dec. 14, 2 - 3:30 p.m. Birding Boulder County Through the Seasons will be offered at the Louisville Public Library located at 951 Spruce Street Louisville. Dec. 17, 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. Winter Wonders will be offered at the Lafayette Public Library located at 775 W. Baseline Road. Volunteer naturalists share the many wonders of winter and how plants and animals adapt to snow and cold. Register here or at https://discover.bouldercounty.gov.
Dec. 19, 1:00 p.m. Hikes for Seniors at Mud Lake
Seniors are invited to walk around Mud Lake with a volunteer naturalist and learn about how animals and plants take refuge during the winter. Transportation from Boulder is available for non-mountain drivers. Details are provided upon registration.
