A bear sighted in the Somerset neighborhood photographed by a Blink security camera.
A bear has been sighted multiple times from Dec. 19 through Dec. 21 in the Somerset neighborhood in Niwot. Somerset resident Elizabeth Riegel said the sightings occurred on Firethorn Court during the nighttime hours.
Riegel said the sightings have been reported to Boulder County and the Colorado Parks & Wildlife authorities. The Colorado Parks & Wildlife District Wildlife Manager from Longmont investigated the area on Dec. 21. The bear sighted appears to be healthy.
