NCA Rep Jeff Knight steps down from LID

Jeff Knight, the Niwot Community Association's representative on the Niwot Local Improvement District (LID) Advisory Committee, submitted his resignation from the committee via email Jan. 24, due to a move out of state at the end of February.

Knight also serves on the NCA's board of directors as the Area 1 representative, and has been an NCA representative on Niwot's Sesquicentennial Committee. He indicated that he plans a move to Texas, saying, "Family support is the central issue mandating this change."

Knight was appointed to the LID Advisory Committee in 2022 to fill the unexpired term of Laura Skaggs, who stepped down just prior to being term limited. Knight was reappointed by the county commissioners in 2023.

LID members were quick to wish Knight well and thank him for his service to the LID. Boulder County will accept applications for the position, which according to the LID's bylaws, will be filled by a person recommended by the NCA.
