All Local, All The Time

Courier to celebrate fundraising success with the public April 28

The Left Hand Valley Courier, a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, launched a fundraising campaign in November 2024 with the goal of raising $250,000 to pay reporters and vendors, print the newspaper weekly, upgrade our printing quality, and support our educational mission.

Your generosity has been overwhelming.

To date, we have raised $49,573.00 with $4,985.00 of that donated in 2025. Our success is due to the outpouring of local support from you, our loyal readers. We are in the process of applying for grants to supplement our local fundraising efforts.

Some of you have also pledged a monthly donation which will go a long way toward supporting the quality independent reporting you have come to expect from the Courier. The Courier is celebrating its 28th year thanks to you.

We thank each of you for your generosity. We still have a long way to go, but we trust our readers to keep us headed toward our goal to keep the Left Hand Valley Courier strong, independent, educational, and thriving for a long time to come.

The Left Hand Valley Courier is celebrating its donors on Monday, April 28, at 5:30 p.m. at The Wheel House with music, games, and prizes. Everyone is welcome to come and find out more about the Courier.
